  • Mayo's Cape Codder starts offering select rooms as early as April 1st, kicking off the season Memorial Day weekend and closing on November 1st. However, feel free to reach out, as our two apartments are open for rental throughout the entire year!

  • Every room in our establishment includes air conditioning. It's crucial for the proper operation of the system that guests refrain from using the air conditioning when the windows are open.

  • Although our mailing and street address is 570 Commercial Street, we ask our guests to come to the Bradford Street parking lot to check in. Look for our sign, and use 273 Bradford Street in your navigation device.

  • Check-in is no earlier than 3pm. Check-out is no later than 10am.

  • If you would like to book less than our 3-night minimum, please give us a call. PH# (508) 487-0131 Depending on the occupancy and open rooms, we may be able to accommodate you.

  • We provide one parking space per reservation on our (273) Bradford St and 570 Commercial St. lots. If guests would like to bring more than one car, additional space will be subject to availability.

  • No. In an effort to make all our guests comfortable during their stay, we have changed our pet policy and no longer can accommodate guests with pets. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Yes, we welcome all children over the age of 2 years at Mayo’s Cape Codder Guest House. We ask that families are considerate of other guests when it comes to excessive noise in the house, making special effort to use inside voices and walking quietly when in the house. We love kids and hope this consideration is not a hardship.

  • In Room 4, you'll find a combination of 1 twin bed and 1 full-size bed. Room 8 & Room 15 are equipped with 2 full-size beds. Additionally, both apartments feature a mix of queen and full-size beds.

  • Ptown is very walkable and bike-friendly town. There are options to rent bikes, e-bikes and golf carts in town. It is not necessary to have a car with you unless you’d like to explore other parts of the Cape during your stay. The center of town is a 20-minute walk from your guest house room. Various alternatives, such as Cape Air (operating year-round) and the ferry (seasonal), provide additional choices for reaching P-town.

  • Each of our apartments comes with a private bathroom equipped with a tub combination shower. In addition, the individual rooms share access to four maintained bathroom and shower facilities.

  • Regrettably, we do not offer daily maid service for our rooms. Similar to many establishments in Provincetown, we are currently facing a worker shortage, and we appreciate your understanding and patience. While we encourage towel reuse for environmental reasons, we recognize the need for refreshers during your stay.   • The Mayo Family, deeply rooted in this coastal area for generations, is dedicated to preserving the marine environment. To minimize plastic waste on the Outer Cape, we kindly ask guests to bring their own toiletries. If needed, we're happy to provide accommodations. Thank you for helping us safeguard the ocean and keep its beaches clean for everyone to enjoy.

  • For your convenience, we are delighted to offer hair dryers in each room. Simply request one, and we'll be happy to provide it.

  • With advance notice, we can coordinate a private car service to greet you at the pier or airport in Provincetown. Please be aware that there is a fee for this service.

  • We charge a $50 cancellation fee.

  • Yes! Gift certificates can be purchased HERE.

  • If your plans change after your reservation is confirmed and you booked directly through our website or via phone, cancellations made UP TO 30 days prior to arrival date will result in a refund of the deposit less a 15% service charge. Cancellations WITHIN 30 days of the arrival date, regardless of reason, will result in a forfeiture of total deposit amount. There are no refunds due to medical or family emergencies, inclement weather, missed or cancelled flights, ferry reservations etc.

    We highly encourage guests to consider purchasing trip insurance in the event an emergency arises that impedes your travel plans. A visit to InsureMyTrip.com to compare affordable options is well worth your travel investment.

    No refunds are provided for late arrivals, early departures, no-shows, or weather-related cancellations.

    Cancellations MUST be made by phone or by email.

    There are no refunds for shortened stays or later arrivals. If you have any concerns about our cancellation policy we strongly recommend taking out travel insurance.

  • As we welcome you back to our guest house, we are committed to providing you with a safe environment that aligns with expert protocols working to defeat and prevent COVID-19. Both in-house and out-of-doors, we have raised our cleaning and safety standards. We will actively monitor and evolve our solutions to ensure a continued focus on the health and safety of our guests and associates.
